Tatiana has always had a passion for the arts. She studied both piano and harp for many years as well as studying ballet and Ukrainian character dance. She danced with the Shevchenko Musical Ensemble for over 25 years touring Canada and the Ukraine. Her dance background landed her a job in the National Ballet School where she worked in production, scheduling and as an assistant to the Artistic Director. Tatiana and her spouse then spent 10 years in Hong Kong and the US raising their 3 children before moving back to Oakville. Throughout this time, she continued with her love of the arts by volunteering at her kids’ music, dance and skating schools.

Miriam’s talents lie not in the arts but in organization. In her youth, growing up in Toronto, Miriam took lessons in Orff, piano, clarinet and violin. Music has always played a huge part of her life but more as a listener. She and her husband have enjoyed many, many performances at The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. As avid theatre enthusiasts, they have seasons tickets for both Soulpepper and The Tarragon theatres in Toronto. When her children were growing up, Miriam encouraged their love of music, dance and drama and in fact both children took lessons at Addison Music Learning Centre. Miriam grew up in Toronto and attended the University of Toronto. She received a Bachelor of Science in computer science and mathematics. Miriam spent more than 25 years working as a computer professional, mainly in downtown Toronto but also a few years in Oakville where she has lived since 1995. She has been working part time for a few years now and when the job at Addison became available she jumped at the chance to work at this wonderful music school.
